Surprise, surprise…!!!!

. . . ” the researching, discovery and understanding of facts / information on different societies at different times in our past and in different locations in the world. When studying these people, we need to examine how they lived and, for every event, consider the what, the who, the why, the when and the how. These different populations had different technologies, transportation, food, sports and leisure, education, law and order and housing…” …  … WHAT A COMPLEX DEFINITION… THOUGHT UP completely AND PRESENTED BY OUR GRADE 4 IMMERSION STUDENTS …. Very impressive…!!!

I was a little surprised however, that routines are taking a  little too long to fully grasp… After “a few” practices of coming in and climbing to the second floor, I think we are starting to comprehend the “silence in the halls” BASIC rule… I do apologize for making silent students practice but I can’t, for security reasons, leave a few in the class and the rest on the first floor… … The strong silent types are encouraged to remind your peers about the well-known expectations . . .

In our continuation of the “RECOUNT” (writing style), we reviewed our first autobiography and started a biography on the Mayo brothers. Students had explosive fun trying to convince me that they understood the difference between a biography and an autobiography…

First gym period… Went off without any injuries … THANK YOU VM GUARDING ANGEL… Everyone participated in our world domination match … … but who knew of all the new cooperative games the kids have come up with in the last little while … Happy Thursday
